Santa Clara County will be holding two community input sessions to solicit public opinion about whether to build a new jail or explore real alternatives to incarceration and real community safety. All of our house parties, campaign meetings and public testimony has led to this moment. On Saturday morning, we will be texting SURJers and people who have attended house parties to ask them to come to a training on June 29 and commit to attending at least one of the community input sessions.
