PLEASE NOTE: The SURJ Art & Culture Working Group usually meets on the second Monday of each month but have pushed back the meeting this week so that folks can attend the SJ City Council meeting on Monday night to preserve Measure E for permanent affordable housing.

The SURJ Art & Culture working group is hosting an art build to prep banners for our partners in RECS and PASOS at Sacred Heart Community Service. Join us in person at Sacred Heart Community Service on Wednesday June 14th anytime between 5:30 and 7:30pm. No experience is necessary. SHCS is at 1381 S. First Street, but the entrance to the parking lot is off Alma. Enter the building in the back, the Volunteer Entrance which is closest to First Street. The building is wheelchair accessible. There are two nearby bus stops and the Tamien light rail station is a 10 minute walk.
