This is our quarterly Asamblea with our partner organizing committees at Sacred Heart Community Service—PASOS, Race Equity and Community Safety (RECS), the Sacred Heart Housing Action Committee (SHHAC), and Survivors of the Street (SOS), and this month also our Education Organizing Committee. This will be a special family friendly Asamblea to honor Dia de Los Muertos: Pan dulce! Hot chocolate! Games! Art-making activities! Also, each committee will be building their own altar. This meeting will be in person in the outdoor courtyard at Sacred Heart Community Service. The building is wheelchair accessible. There is free parking available both on Alma Court and onsite. There is a bus stop nearby and the Tamien light rail station is a 10 minute walk.
