As part of our Summer of Solidarity focusing on outreach and relationship building, the July Building Community One to One event will be held in person at Olinder Park in San Jose. Please register here so that we can plan to partner folks up.

Organizer adrienne maree brown says “relationships are everything.” Organizer Ed Chambers says “one-to-one relational meetings are the glue that brings people together…to create connection, confrontation, and an exchange of talent and energy, eventually leading to some kind of joint action.” Here at our SURJ chapter we say, “relationships are what keep us in the work when the white heat of our outrage has subsided.”

Join us once a month and be partnered with another SURJer for a community building one-to-one conversation (what organizers call a “relational meeting.”) We will hold these events on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
