Given the brutal political climate for racial justice issues, sometimes grief or anger can put us in a state of isolation or overwhelm or make us feel stuck. But we are not alone. Many of us have been steadfastly working for social and racial justice in our faith communities. We are on this journey together and have a lot to learn from one another. Let's meet each other and break bread (or, in this case, cookies) together! :)
If you work for racial justice within a faith community in Santa Clara County, you are cordially invited to a gathering hosted by Showing Up for Racial Justice at Sacred Heart Community Service. We would like to feed you cookies and other treats, and create an opportunity for us all to get to know each other and share about our groups/communities. Maybe you missed the gathering in July—this is another chance to connect!
