Maybe you've heard the line, "If I can't dance, I don't want to be a part of your revolution." Well, you CAN dance at our revolution! Once a quarter we gather together with our internal partners at Sacred Heart Community Service--PASOS, Race Equity and Community Safety (RECS), the Housing Action Committee (SHHAC) and Survivors of the Street (SOS)--to build community so that we can support each other's campaigns. This week we will celebrate! We will share our accomplishments from the year and get a Latin dance lesson so that we can dance together. Join us in person at 6pm at Sacred Heart Community Service (1381 S. First Street in SJ). Your loved ones are welcome and there will be a kid-friendly art activity to start. It's a potluck--you can sign up to bring something at the button below. But that's not a barrier to entry if you can't bring food. The Sacred Heart Organizing Committee's mission is to strengthen, empower, and fortify community, organizing by breaking down silos, supporting each other and ultimately developing strong partnership between committees so that we can support and prioritize the needs of the most vulnerable people in our communities in Santa Clara County.
