The Protect Juristac coalition is asking us to show up to the Mountain View City Council meeting on Tuesday April 11, because they will be voting that evening on a resolution against the proposed mining project on Amah Mutsun sacred land. The City Council meeting starts at 6:30pm, but this item could be near the end of the agenda. Once the agenda comes out (probably on Friday April 7) we will have a better idea of approximately when it will be heard. Here's the agenda page for the City Council, if you're interested.
Please attend on April 11! The coalition plans to only have a few people speaking at the meeting, but they want a whole lot of people sitting in the audience holding Protect Juristac signs.
Mountain View City Hall is at 500 Castro Street, Mountain View, 94041. There's an underground parking garage below City Hall, and the Caltrain station and light rail station are about a 10-minute walk away.
