Renters’ Rights Coalition urges all concerned tenants and San Jose residents to join Somos Mayfair at a Posada at San Jose City Hall on December 5. Somos Mayfair Vecinos Unidos have collected over 1200 signatures on petitions against displacement and plan to present them to City Councilmembers during the Posada celebration.

The Posada is a reenactment of the search by Joseph and Mary for housing at the time of Jesus’s birth. Sadly, this is the exactly the same situation many young families find themselves in as they struggle to find shelter in Silicon Valley today.
