Santa Clara County has been a leader in the nation with one of the strongest policies ensuring our local law enforcement does not work with ICE.

But last year, ICE agents were allowed access into our local jail, against county policy. Whenever local law enforcement allows ICE access to a community member, California's TRUTH ACT requires a community forum take place to take comment from those directly impacted and to share data.
