The Palestine Solidarity Group, led by Maria Lynch and Stephanie Preston meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month via Zoom, with occasional in-person gatherings.

The group seeks to deepen our understanding of Palestine’s historical and contemporary realities, foster collective learning rooted in solidarity and racial justice, and proactively engage in advocacy, campaigns, and sustained accountability.

What we are working on:

  • Community learning: Attending local educational events and workshops on Palestine.

  • Relationship building: We work with the Arab American Cultural Center and other organizations to guide and ground our work.

  • Internal education: Creating opportunities to help SURJ members learn and connect Palestine solidarity with broader racial justice struggles.

The Britain Palestine Project was created to highlight Britain’s record in Palestine before, during, and after the Mandate, effectively from 1840 to 1948. They work to advance equal rights for all in Palestine/Israel regardless of race or creed and achieve greater public awareness of Britain’s current and historic responsibilities in Palestine/Israel.
