Indigenous Solidarity Issue Group Monthly Meeting

What We Do

The Indigenous Solidarity Issue Group supports our Accountability Partner, Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, and works to educate ourselves and our membership about indigenous issues and current campaigns in our region, and take action to dismantle systems of settler colonialism as individuals, as an organization, and in our society.

We meet online the third Wednesday of the month from 7-8:30pm PT at this link. Contact jenm@sacredheartcs.org for the password. The Santa Clara County Planning Commission will be hearing public comment about the proposed Sargent Ranch mining project on August 25th, so this will be an action packed meeting.

Sign the petition to Protect Juristac, Amah Mutsun sacred land, from destruction as a sand and gravel mine.

We are on unceded (unyielded) Ohlone land.

Ohlone is an umbrella term that encompasses many different groups of Indigenous people in what we call the Bay Area.
