Join the Rapid Response Network in Santa Clara County by attending our training for SJSU and the surrounding community at St. Paul's United Methodist Church at 405 S. 10th Street in downtown San Jose!
We have seen an increase of enforcement in our community. Immigrant families were ready to respond by asserting their rights, and allies in the RRN were activated and responded successfully to make sure that those impacted had the support they needed.
The Rapid Response Network in Santa Clara County is a community defense project that aims to protect immigrant families from deportation, and to provide them with moral and accompaniment support.
During this training you will learn how to document and monitor ICE officials during raids in real-time. The Rapid Response Training will cover:
* How the Santa Clara County Rapid Response Network functions
* How to do legal observation and documentation during ICE operations
* How to provide moral and accompaniment support for detained families
* And most importantly about the role YOU can play!
