Join us for our next book club meeting on Saturday, December 22nd at the Snake and Butterfly in downtown Campbell.  The time will be 12:00-2:00 pm with the first hour for reading and the second for in depth discussion and commiseration.  

We are reading Evicted by Matthew Desmond.  At our last meeting we made it to page 281 and are ready to begin Chapter 24. Feel free to catch up if you could not make it to the last meeting.  You do not need to have been there to join us on Saturday.  You can read at home and join in on any session.

This is the last chapter of this book and then the epilogue.  We will finish at this session.  Beginning in January, we will start reading White Fragility by Robin Diangelo as this book goes right along with what SURJ is all about and will provide us with important information.  We will have a fresh book for the new year so make a resolution to join us!
