The SURJ Book Club meets to read and discuss books that address racial justice. On Zoom, we check in at the beginning, take the first hour to read on our own and discuss the book for the second hour.
We will be starting When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir by Patrisse Khan-Cullors and Asha Bandele. This is a great time to join us at the beginning of a book.
Our first hour will be set aside for silent reading and our second for in-depth discussion. We always go deep. You don't want to miss being a part of this amazing group.
