Description: Learn how to make a flip book and build your own hand-drawn animation to support the vision and asks of the Care First Jail Last Coalition
In this session: We will practice envisioning a world where all beings are safe and cared for, learn how to make a simple flip-book, and spend time bringing the world we want to see into reality with our own hands (i.e. with art!). No art experience necessary! Following art-making time, we will share ways to send your message to SCC Supervisors telling them that another world is possible and to put Care First!
You will need:
Post-its or printer Paper
scissors or craft knife
pens/markers/crayons (whatever you’d like to color with)
binder clips or a stapler
All are welcome. Event is free and on Zoom.
