Creatives for Compassionate Communities in partnership with SURJ at Saced Heart, Green Foothills, and Anti-Racist San Jose invites you to an Art and Spirituality Event sponsored by URBAN SANCTUARY.

CREATIVE COMPASSION IN ACTION TO PROTECT SACRED LAND is a mini retreat in support of the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band's fight to stop a quarry from being built on the sacred land at Juristac. The event is supported by PROTECT JURISTAC and South Bay Indigenous Solidarity.

The activities will begin indoors and then move outdoors to the City Hall Plaza. MASKS ARE REQUIRED REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS. EVENT IS FREE. FREE PARKING ONSITE.
