Join us for deep canvassing for TRUST in south San Jose! What is deep canvassing? It is an approach to outreach that engages people with questions about their experiences so that we make meaningful connections. We have been giving out refrigerator magnets about how to call TRUST and asking folks about their experiences with mental health or addiction and why they might find a program like TRUST useful. Even folks who aren’t wild about doorknocking have been finding the TRUST deep canvassing outings a positive experience! No previous experience is necessary—we’ll train you and pair you up with someone who has already done outreach for TRUST. Or bring a friend and we’ll train you both!

We will be meeting at the Vineland Branch Library but will be walking out into the neighborhoods north of Blossom Hill, so it’s important to arrive on time.
