Tomorrow, February 13, the San Jose City Council is discussing their priorities for the 2024-2025 budget. The best time to influence the budget is NOW . Given that Valentine's Day is this week, Race Equity and Community Safety (RECS) and SURJ are doing a series of Valentines-themed actions today and tomorrow to ask them to fund an additional TRUST field team for San Jose. What can YOU do? Email a Valentines-themed written comment to the council by the end of day TODAY! Take 5 minutes to write and send a message that opens with the line "Happy Valentine's Day!," shares why you personally care about expanding TRUST, and ends with the ask.
